PUBG stands for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). It is an online multiplayer battle royale game.

The battleground was first released in March 2017 through Steam’s early access beta program for Microsoft Windows.
The PUBG was also released for Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One through its Xbox Game Preview program the same month and was officially released in September 2018.
A free-to-play mobile version for Android and iOS was released in 2018.
